Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Route-Guardian is a tool you use to do your own job. We collect only what is required to run the app for you and bill your subscription. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time. See account deletion.

What We Collect

• Account: Email and hashed password. Optional name.
• Permits & routes: Uploaded permit files, extracted route data, and navigation history tied to your account.
• Location: GPS when you use mileage tracking or navigation features (with your permission).
• Receipts & invoices: Images and data you upload for expense and billing features.
• Support: Messages and attachments you send to support.
• Payment: Processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

How We Use Data

To provide permit extraction, route navigation, mileage tracking, invoicing, and customer support. To improve extraction accuracy with de-identified training data only where permitted.

Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account from the app (Billing → Delete Account) or by contacting support. Deletion removes permits, trips, receipts, and personal data associated with your account.

Third Parties

We use service providers for hosting, maps, payments (Stripe), email, and optional QuickBooks integration. Each processes data only to provide the service.
